Many Christians read the book of Revelation with the view that they qualify as a tribulation saint; however, Jesus indicates
that most will fall away when persecuted for their faith to avoid dying for it. Moreover, many will betray other Believers.
"Then they will deliver you to tribulation, and will kill you, and you will be hated by all nations
because of My name. At that time many will fall away and will betray one another and hate one another."
(Matt 24:9-10)
"Brother will betray brother to death, and a father his child; and children will rise up against
parents and have them put to death. You will be hated by all because of My name, but the one who endures to the end, he will
be saved." (Mark 13:12-13)
"But you will be betrayed even by parents and brothers and relatives and friends, and they will put
some of you to death, and you will be hated by all because of My name." (Luke 21:16-17)
