When the angel in the Temple of God sounded the second trumpet (Rev 8:8-9), one of the
four angels standing at the four corners of earth (Rev 7:1-3) throws something like a
great mountain burning with fire into the sea.
This results in 1/3 of the sea turns to blood, killing 1/3 of all sea creatures and destroying 1/3 of all sea
ships.
