When judgment comes upon "Babylon," it is prophesized that the shipping industry will mourn the loss of great business and
commerce (Rev 18:17-19).
Note carefully: in contrast to an expression of grief or of concern for the pain and suffering of another, "woe" is used as a
self-centered grief, an expression of self-pity, because one's source and means of wealth is being destroyed.
