As the apostle John records his observations, he is reporting with a certain urgency to encourage readers the importance of
the Revelation of Jesus Christ. By indicating that the "time is near" (Rev 1:3), the theme of urgency is with certain immediacy.
However, it is with human history that makes apparent that the context of time is not measured on a human scale.
