Jesus' death and resurrection establishes His authority as Judge (Rev 12:10),
which empowers the angel Michael and his angels to go to war and "throw down to earth" Satan and his fallen
evil angels (Rev 12:7-9). Now disbarred from a residence in heaven,
Satan can no longer come in the presence of God like he once did.
Now it was the day that the sons of God came to stand before Yahweh, and Satan also came
among them. And Yahweh said to Satan, "From where do you come?" Then Satan answered Yahweh and said, "From
roaming about on the earth and walking around on it." (Job 1:6-7)
Because Satan's disbarment occurs after Jesus' death and resurrection, Revelation 12:1-13
locates these events of the Third Interlude in the period between Daniel's 69th and 70th week!
Woe to the earth and the sea, because the devil has come down to you, having great wrath, knowing that he
has only a short time!
