Since the Fourth Trumpet, there was considerable foreboding of the last three trumpets, because each caused
the eagle to express a "woe for those who dwell on the earth" (Rev 8:13).
This sorrow was in anticipation of what these last three trumpets signaled: the expression of God's wrath
directly upon human beings. The third and last woe was about the reaping angel, and the seven angels each with
a plague and a bowl of God's wrath.
When the Temple of God opens, revealing the Ark of the Covenant (Rev 11:19;
15:5), seven angels with seven plagues wore clean and bright linen with
a distinctive golden sash around their chests.
One of the four living creatures gave to each angel seven golden bowls full of the wrath of God, and it
appears that each plague is mixed with each corresponding bowl (Rev 21:9).
When the angels with the seven plagues and bowls leave the sanctuary, it fills with smoke from the glory of
God and His power such that no one is able to enter the sanctuary until the seven angels finished dispensing
their bowls (Rev 15:8).
