Animism is the belief that inanimate objects are unique spiritual beings who can help or harm human beings
and their activities.
This classification basically describes the type of religion found in many indigenous people groups found in each
continent of the world such as Aborigines, Hawaiian, island communities of Indonesia, and Native American. Examples
of religions that have this feature are African Traditional Religion and Shinto.
