Approach: Examining several passages throughout the Bible, from beginning to end, to understand the kingdom of God.
Hermeneutic objective: Reading several passages and using a table to focus our observation and recognize change.
Theological objective: The Old Testament starts off with the concept of the kingdom of God with its essential components of
God, His people, and land. However, throughout the existence of mankind, the Promised Land is never achieved. The New Testament
introduces Jesus Christ as King and His kingdom. At the end of human history, Jesus Christ returns for His kingdom and after
rendering judgment of all evil and death, and with the creation of New Jerusalem, Jesus Christ returns the kingdom to His Father.
