Hermeneutic objective: Learning how to use a Bible dictionary or atlas to gain an understanding of the geogrpahical context of a passage.

Theological objective: The major portion of Jesus' ministry was in Galilee, and the center of His Galilean ministry was at Capernaum. Moreover, Jesus' ministry was primarily to the Jews and confined almost entirely to Jewish centers free from Gentile influence.
