Approach: Reading Matthew 13:24-30, 36-43 about Jesus' Parable of the Weeds / Tares.
Hermeneutic objective: An easy introduction to figures of speech and learning how to observe what they represent to understand
parables.
Theological objective: The Parable of the Weeds places a focus on the beginning and end of a growing season. In the beginning, the
world has both Believers and non-Believers. At the end of the season, the time of harvest, the discipes are introduced to Jesus as the Judge
who deploys His angels to reap and separate the wicked from the righteous before all are granted access into the Kingdom of God.
