This answer is partly a trick option. It is intended to bring to your attention the difference between
false praise (i.e. flattery) and genuine praise. While not directed towards demonic forces, Jesus makes a
reference of this towards the Jews:
"This people honors Me with their lips, But their heart is far away from Me."
(Matt 15:8)
Praise may be directed towards objects as well, whether tangible or not. In this perspective, a praise
may heighten the relative value of an object and make it more appealing or an object of desire.
