Hermeneutics: Breaking Down a Passage - Psalms 19:7-8

In many instances, you can make it easier to read the Bible when you break down a passage into easier parts to study. Look for natural divisions of the passage and take the time to fully understand its words. Here is an example of breaking down the passage into its natural divisions of thought using Psalms 19:7-8. What do you learn when you understand all the words within the passage?

The law of the Lord is perfect, restoring the soul;
The testimony of the Lord is sure, making wise the simple.
The precepts of the Lord are right, rejoicing the heart;
The commandment of the Lord is pure, enlightening the eyes. (Ps 19:7-8)
