Dr. Steve Porter


Dr. Steve Porter received his PhD in philosophy from the University of Southern California under Dallas Willard, an MPhil in philosophical theology from the University of Oxford, and a MA in philosophy and ethics from Talbot School of Theology. Steve teaches theology and philosophy at Talbot School of Theology and at Rosemead School of Psychology (both of BIOLA University).

His areas of interest include apologetics, spiritual formation, and the integration of psychology and theology. He has contributed articles to the Journal of the Evangelical Theological Society, Faith and Philosophy, Philosophia Christi, and the Journal for Psychology and Theology.His first book, Restoring the Foundations of Epistemic Justification, was published by Lexington Books in 2006.
