The Holy Spirit teaches you, primarily through God's word, how to be holy as God is holy:
what to desire and what not to desire. The indwelling of the Holy Spirit guarantees the
Believer's name in the Book of Life.
Then those who feared the Lord spoke to one another, and the Lord
gave attention and heard it, and a book of remembrance was written before Him for
those who fear the Lord and who esteem His name. "They will be Mine," says the Lord of
hosts, "on the day that I prepare My own possession, and I will spare them as a man spares
his own son who serves him." So you will again distinguish between the righteous and the
wicked, between one who serves God and one who does not serve Him.
(Mal 3:16-18, ESV)
The Holy Spirit teaches the Believer how to serve God as stewards of and obedient to God's
word. When there is true reconciliation of one with God, then genuine reconciliation between
other people can occur.
and you shall be to Me a kingdom of priests and a holy nation.'
These are the words that you shall speak to the sons of Israel."
(Ex 19:6, ESV)
But you are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation,
a people for his own possession, that you may proclaim the excellencies of him who called you
out of darkness into his marvelous light. (2 Pet 2:9, ESV)
34) A new commandment I give to you, that you love (agapaō)
one another: just as I have loved (agapaō) you, you also are to love (agapaō)
one another. 35) By this all people will know that you are my disciples, if you have love
(agapē) for one another." (John 13:34-35, ESV)
