Predetermine (predestine)

Predestine describes the certainty of God's sequence of election, timing and outcome. Just as God has a predetermined plan for events, He has a predetermined plan for Believers.

For example, Paul speaks of predestine in the context of the Believer who is pre-appointed to "be conformed to the image of His Son (Rom 8:29-30) and adoption "as sons through Jesus Christ" (Eph 1:5-11).

Pre-appointed to be conformed to the image of Jesus Christ, Believers were called to be His holy people to serve with a purpose, justified and glorified; it is God's predetermined plan of sanctification from start to finish.
